On November 21, 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mayuree Yothawut, Assistant Director for Academic Affairs, ASEAN Institute for Health Development was assigned by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D., Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development to attend the 1st MUGH Sub -Working Group Committee Meeting to prepare for the Mahidol University Global Health (MUGH) Leadership Program. Also attended in the meeting were Adj. Prof. Dr. Thaworn Sakunphanit, M.D., Advisor to the Director of the ASEAN Institute of Health Development; Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology; Assoc. Prof. Walasinee Sakcamduang, Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Science and Assistant Professor Dr. Preeyaporn Kerdrit (attending on behalf of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sura Pattanakiat, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies). The meeting took place via Zoom Meeting Platform.
The purpose of this
meeting was to prepare for the Mahidol University Global Health (MUGH)
Leadership Program. The program is expected to enhance the capacity of the
trainees in order to become global health professionals, to promote global
health and to expand the global health mission network further. The training
topics consisted of nine modules: Unblocking the Building Block, Key Themes of
MUGH & Networking, One Health, Digital Health, Social Health Protection,
Global Primary Health Care, SDGs, and AUN-HPN Networking.
In this meeting, the sub-working
group committee exchanged useful ideas and jointly formulated the sub-training
topics corresponding to each module in order to enhance the competency of the
trainees for maximum efficiency. Comments and suggestions obtained from this
session will be used to improve the efficiency of MUGH upcoming activities and
training program.
