On August 30, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr.
Chuthamanee Suthisisang, Vice President of Mahidol University and Advisor
to the Mahidol Global Health Working Group Committee presided over the MUGH
Working Group Comittee meeting No.3/2022. Also attended in the meeting were
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D., Director of the ASEAN Institute
for Health Development and Chair of the MUGH Working Group Committee and other
MUGH working group committee, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sura Pattanakiat, Dean of
the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies; Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasitorn
Rungarunlert, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Science; Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of
Information and Communication Technology; Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy,
Director,of Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit. The meeting took
place at Ratchaphruek conference room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development,
Mahidol University and via Zoom Meeting Platform.
The
purpose of this meeting was to follow up on the progress of various activities
according to the Fiscal Year 2022 plan
and to consider activities according to the Fiscal Year 2022 plan. The highlighted topics of discussion were as follows:
Ph.D. in Health
and Sustainable Development Program in Global Health and Health Policy. It was
proposed to add 3 more elective subjects and was expected to be open in 2022
academic year.
A virtual
short-course training program in Scientific
writing in collaboration with Prof. Henry Silverman from
the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. This training program has
already been promoted in the Mahidol University website. On
this occasion, Prof. Dr. Shafi Bhuiyan from the University
of Toronto was invited to be a keynote speaker on the
topic of Global Health Equity via Zoom Meeting Platform (no
additional cost)
Digital Health in
PHC (COVID-19 vaccine monitoring Dashboard): the vaccination data of Nakhon
Pathom Province has been made available to check via this website nptvaccin.ict.mahidol.ac.th
with daily updates at 8.00 AM. It is expected to expand the scale of database
from provincial level to national level in the near future.
It was proposed to
follow up on the Project on seamless health and social
services provision for elderly persons (S-TOP)" supported by
JICA
